I remember my parents hated the idea of recycling when it hit our neighborhood in the early 90’s, but they slowly took to it. First it was bundles of old newpapers and magazines. Then plastic containers. Before you know it, they were trying to recycle stuff curbside you shouldn’t like old microwaves and jugs of used motor oil.
