That’s when you know you have to find something better.

I don’t call that a dream. Nightmare seems more appropriate.

….Retail nightmare…. Been there.

I hate it when that happens.

The other night I dreamed I was driving up the hill to my house. When I got there, a couple of friends were standing next to their car in my driveway. I said to them through the window, “I’m not really here. I’m asleep in the basement. This is a dream. That explains why the garage door is closed. It hasn’t worked in decades.”

I dream regularly about a job I had in the early ’80s.

I have work dreams all the time. I retired 9 years ago.

Almost 30 years ago I was working at Arby’s. I was pulling extra hours since we were short on staff and the 5 for $5 special was running, so we were busier than normal. I realized I might have been working too much when I woke up to find myself sitting up in bed folding the paper around the sandwiches! At the time I had daughters that were 4 and 2 and my husband was stationed overseas, so it was just me.
