We spent 2 years working from home. The new CFO wanted people in the office 3 days a week. That was annoying when gas was $2/gal. Now that it’s $4.50/gal, it’s a serious issue.
And those fuel costs get added to the things we buy. A one hundred gallon diesel tank takes 500 dollars to fill up. They only get 3 miles per gallon when working under loads. That fuel cost get added to the freight cost which gets passed on to the consumer.
