A manager was arriving at work one morning, and he met the night watchman, who was leaving. The watchman said to the manager: “Don’t take the plane to that conference you’re going to. I dreamed last night that the plane crashed, and everybody on board was killed, and my dreams always come true.” The plane he was going to take crashed, killing all crew and passengers, but the manager took the train, so he was unhurt. When he came back to work after the conference was over, he met the night watchman again as he was leaving, and said to him: “Thank you for the warning. You saved my life. You’re fired.”
