Got hit with my 1st migraine 20 years ago working in a store. Have had many more since then.

This is so true… I vent after work by playing FPS or online war games… have to do something… I usually leave work feeling like my brain is both imploding and exploding simultaneously

The woman trying to open the “store app” while in the store isn’t unreasonable. Some stores have “digital coupons” that you have to “clip” on your app or you can’t use them. And wi-fi is usually bad so my mother has to move to the front window of the store to open her app and clip the coupon so it loads onto her member card.

Part of the time I worked in my dad’s store I had long hair, a Fu Manchu mustache, etc. It was late ’60s. People would ask me, “Do you work here?” while I was standing at the cash register.
