Hey, she gets paid the same to listen to the yarn.

I seldom use the cashier check-out at Wal Mart (“Where America goes to shop!”) but when I do, I always seem to get into chats with them. I do try to avoid my story telling if there are people behind me, but if not, you never know what we’ll discuss.

You’ll never learn unless you follow up……

The same rule applies in meetings….there’s always that one who asks a question right before the breaks, lunch, and end of meetings.

Stephan had to have worked at Target at some point and time. I work part time at target over the holiday season one year for extra money. this comic strip absolutely embodies every aspect of my experience of doing that.

Ummm, when someone mentions their wife, that usually means they’re married, April. That was a foolish question.

People are waiting so I can’t stop to have a conversation with the self checkout machine in Walmart. But the self driving floor scrubber there has time for a chat.

Some people sure can talk a lot without saying much or listening to anything you say, besides a prompt to keep on blabbing.

I was at a store and a guy kept talking to the checkout lady after he paid. I put my stuff in front of him and she started checking me out. I walked around him and paid and left. He was still talking.

Or nod in an understanding way. :)
