When the fabric store had a huge sale I would be called in to just put the fabric away. I knew all the fabric and where it belonged from my quiet Friday nights there. I would still get asked by customers to cut fabric for them, even though there was no room to measure it or cut it. Told them I was restocking to give the sales staff room to work.

To be fair, the vast majority of customers is polite. They’re just not as memorable as the rest.
