Methinks Miss Amy has dealt with Agnes before. And she can’t send her to the Principal’s office. Or laugh. In some quarters, this is called making the best of a losing hand.
If Agnes tried that at our library, she would have been laughed out of the place. The terminals in our local libraries are busy all day long. Sometimes you have to have a reservation for them. Then you’re limited to about a 1/2 hour at a time. Miss Amy would have been scolded for her attitude towards Agnes, but in this case, she’s right. lol

Yes… she can just put it in the after-hours book and YouTube drop box.
She doesn’t have a computer so she’ll be happy “knowing” it’s online.

And Agnes didn’t discern Ms. Amy’s boredom (obvious to the reader from the solitaire she’s playing) from the tone of her answer (panel 1).

Hey! We librarians never play solitaire on the computer. At least not the ones on the front desk.
