Yeah, like David HG, I see a possible connection…
Agnes concluded that her parents were beach bums…
Maybe she’s right…. maybe not…. but it could have been Gidget’s “Moondoggie” who inspired her parents to name her Moon Puppy…
So she’s playing surf music…or her idea of it.
(And Dick Dale reputedly invented that surfin’ guitar vibrato in “Misirlou.”)
