Never skydiving, skiing, rollerskating, ice skating (except for one miserable attempt)…Never getting a tattoo….shaving my head…taking Ecstacy,Dating a Hell’s AngelStealing something from a convenience store…Or, yeah, never jumping off the high dive… except that one, terrifying, time I was pushed…A partial list of things I have been told by some person or other, at one time or another, that I would one day regret never trying…The non-doing of which I have never regretted for a moment…and at my age, I’m sure I never will.
When your bucket list is pared down to the last two, 1. Be fortunate enough to wake up the following day, and 2. Be in good shape for the shape you’re in, much of the rest of the list doesn’t much matter.
FYI I’m still working on 2 through 8, the wife takes care of number one. (However you took it, that’s how I meant it.)
I’m with SusanS. There are some things I can forgo without any regret. The high dive is probably numbered among them. But it’s fun to see Agnes try to avoid it.
My aunt would call a taxi, then give him money and have him go to the liquor store for her. The old folks home disapproved. They made her move. She just kept doing it.

Trout: I’ve seen some of the food in nursing homes; I’ll need an outside snack supplier, for sure.
