A long time ago I bought a toaster at a yard sale. We were on a trip at the time. The next morning in the motel, I decided to have a piece of toast…………..fire alarm went off and the whole motel ran into the parking lot. So embarrassed!

I’m not sure that sombreros were ever hip in the winter in Ohio. -————————————-My Grandmother once had what I’d call a manual toaster. You turned it on and put the bread in a holder. After you toasted the bread on one side, you opened the holder and spun it around to expose the untoasted side to the heating elements. So you got to choose how toasted both sides of the bread were. Pretty cool, in a retro sort of way.

I don’t think sombreros were, are, or ever will be hip. Fun, yes, hip, no.

Lets see, cold and snowy, children in sombreros, blackened “objects” being sold for $9.00… Nope, can’t see why nobody is stopping…

Tsk..if you’re going to sell toast for $9 (!!?!) you’ve GOT to call it something else. J Short had it right…Cajun Toast…Loosiana Breakfast Breads….SOMETHING!
