Agnes is always looking for her niche…someplace to shine.
Look to me like she has a future in copywriting.
BTW…. note on yesterday….NightGaunt….. You posted that the Iditarod is only three miles this year…. so I just have to say….NO.It wouldn’t be a famous test of endurance if it were even just an 11 mile race, in the snowiest of winters. It’s approximately a thousand miles…. and the course has been changed and rerouted in other years due to conditions, as well.It begins (today, in fact) with a sort of 11 mile preview, a ceremonial opening race through civilization. That’s what’s been shortened from eleven to three miles this year…and since this is the warmest March 5th in many years in Alaska, if not the warmest on record, they had to truck in snow to do even that. But they’ll start the real race tomorrow, and head off into the wilderness…for almost a thousand miles more.
