And Agnes and Grandma each had a three-and-a-half eighths of an egg omelette for dinner…

Made with one string of string cheese, divided between them.

    Some store-brand white bread toast…

and a shared bag of frozen peas.

    Well, I’ve had worse…..

and there was a fresh baked cookie for dessert!

So far I’ve made four batches, with plans to make two more today. Make cookies while the hens lay, or something along those lines.

I wish I could send them some eggs (I know they’re not real), I guess I could send grandma $1 to get some.

A friend of mine raises quail and sells the eggs.

Gets pretty good amount for them.

Chinese restaurants in Pensacola buy pretty much all he offers.

I figure that means he is selling them too cheaply, but he is satisfied.

(I figure each egg ought to count as an eighth of a normal egg. Don’t really know, just based on the size of hatchlings.)
