When you think of the “good stuff” people toss out, Agnes has the right idea. I’m still using an aluminum saucepan the girls found in a dumpster. We also had a clock radio that was thrown away because the snooze button died. And then there was the vacuum cleaner that had to be plugged in and unplugged; somebody had cast it into outer darkness because the on-off switch didn’t work any more. None of bothered us!
