My parents had old clocks and watches which did not work in a drawer. I found them when a child. I took them apart to see why they failed. Couldn’t see why so I put them back together and they worked. I wore the Elgin watch. The Baby Ben needed an hour hand after which I used it for years. It had radium paint. I enjoyed watching the radioactive decays.
