Man: okay, the truth now, lana...why are these bums so set on taking you prisoner? Woman: I'm afraid it's all my fault! alley oop: Your fault?? man: how can you think this kidnapping is your fault? Woman: It's a long story! Alley oop: We've got nothin' else t'do! Woman: You see, on dec. 7 1941, the world changed for everyone when pearl harbor was attacked! Woman: The next day, my brother and all his friends went to enlist and join the war effort! Man: that's very admirable that your brother wanted to enlist! Woman: Yes, but he has a problem with his feet, so they rejected him! Alley oop: rejected for foot problems? Woman: There's a surgery that would correct it, but it costs $5,000, and he didn't have that kind of money! Alley oop: They can fix feet? Hmmmmmm
