I would build a back log of a few weeks by writing on the days I don’t have to post to allow for sick days, vacation days, days I have to take the cat/s to the vet, days I’m playing tourist (as if NoDak has any touristy places) or the scanner breaks down, etc. But that’s just me, YMMV.
