Just accept that she will always want to be early. She could have a lot more quirks that are much more irritating. My MIL always had to be early, got that from her father, and passed it down to her son. On the other hand, a cousin is always late.
The ex and I did the same thing. He was always “Early” I was “Late.” I blame our opposite personalities. He never wanted people pay attention to him so wanted to arrive early. I loved attention so never had a problem being late. It was a struggle that never got resolved while we were together. Over the years since, I’ve switched to trying to be on-time or even early. I realized how rude it was to keep people waiting.
