By coincidence, I just came back from a Dunkin’ Donuts (I know, they dropped the word from their name in most places, but it’ll always be Dunkin’ Donuts to me) with a bagel and coffee. (Why no donut? Because I still haven’t eaten the one I got from there two days ago…and I don’t eat that many of them anyway…)

Fortunately a picture´s not worth a thousand calories.

Mmmm, doughnuts. It’s been awhile since I’ve had one.

My wife looks at all these delicious cakes online… right before bed!

I remember my grandmother making donuts from scratch when I was a kid. Just watching them floating in all that oil cooking away has made me less than interested in them at this point. Now give me something else equally greasy and calorie laden that has been covered in inches of frosting laden with sugar….that’s a different story :-)

We live in a donut desert. There are 2 terrible donut shops in our town, 80K donut deprived residents. The nearest decent donuts are about 20 minutes away.
