They do ship, but they don’t list many products on line, you have to call and I guess you have to know what to ask for. Amanda, besides the candy apples, what else is great?
If I call them it’s just one person callingkfor candy. If two people call, it’s two people calling for candy. But if three people call, well friends, then it’s a movement. The Amanda for Widman’s caramel apples movement. (With apologies to Arlo Guthrie.). Let’s start a movement, they’ll wonder what the heck is going on!
The candy shop in the Wizarding World at Universal Studios has huge amounts and varieties of caramel and candied apples…. Really worth a visit (the whole place).
I’ve had Widman’s in Fargo send a variety box, heavy on the Chippers of course, to New York City. They do check the weather forecasts for the route to avoid extreme temps/meltdowns. The Minnesota store may be closer to you. I suggested the recipient have some extra security on hand to avoid a feeding frenzy. I received a “Junior’s Most Fabulous Cheesecake” from Brooklyn. Their packaging was a study in insulated package engineering with a chunk of dry ice supported in the center.

If one can get Cornish pasties shipped from Elko Nevada, I’m sure your caramel apple dreams can be (have been) fulfilled.

Can you ship the crackle of fall leaves underfoot?
Can you ship the first sniff of cold, dry air of the season?
Can you ship the sensation of the first chill wind on the day you should have brought a sweater?
We Can. If you can put it in a box, we can ship it and it will get there YESTERDAY!
PostDate Express – for when it absolutely, positively should have already arrived.
