Some years ago, I attended a big job fair in my area. The fair was very disorganized, but people were automatically queuing up into lines outside the doors…
Some of the organizers began motioning people to just stampede the doors instead of forming lines and taking turns. Inside it was a mess – just crowds around employer’s tables, all shouting to be heard over each other. After having to wiggle my way around the tables to see what employers were there (the organizers never posted who would be there, or what kinds of jobs were being offered) I gave up and went home without leaving even a single resume.
If I had been one of those employers, and realized how things were transpiring, I would have gone out to talk to the people who were making their own lines.

When conspiracy theorists line up, it’s a QueueAnon.

The man wondered what he should do,
To get in the line for the queue.
So he queued for the line,
Which turned out just fine,
’Twas the queue for the line for the queue.
But of course he had to get on a waiting list first.
