The penury is when the Purse gets hid [always just temporary]. see it

Turmoil is when the Sofa gets disturbed. But this shot is more turmoily [-ish]. see it right?

Penn and Teller at there worst are much better than today’s strip! I do admit that I’d rather have Andy make a bad pun accidentally than that “glazier” joke recently, which was out of character for Andy (being that it required a tiny bit of knowledge, and a tiny bit of vocabulary……..)

I must admit… Mahoney, Goldsmith & Garnett’s strips DO give me a good laugh every once in a while. There was one this month which had me giggling for ages (Feb 2nd 2013)

However, Reg Smythe’s strips didn’t make me laugh every ‘once in a while’

They made me laugh EVERY DAY.

I wasn’t born in the 1950s when Andy first appeared in the newspaper. But thanks to internet… I found the classics over 3 year ago and caught up.

I got a shock at how much the drawing style had changed from 1957 to the 2000s.

I’m an 18 year old, very feminine teen drama queen who is a MASSIVE Andy Capp fan and I always will be.

If I had a magic wand… I would aim it at the sky and Reg Smythe will drop back to earth and carry on his cartooning talent.

My apologies for the wordy comment.

Scroll past it if you wish.

Not a problem. If it were for real ‘secret’, it wouldn’t be posted. I know it’s hard to see sarcasm. They don’t have a button for that; that and “Edit”. The guy’s name was Bill and he had, at that time, maybe still, a 1923 Buick pick up truck. I was over his house one Saturday and got to go out for a spin. It had a straight six cylinder engine and the starter was the kind that also worked as a generator for the electrics.

That sounds pretty cool. If he still has it then that’s good.

I think I did know you were being sarcastic but just wanted to make sure…

I hope you have a brilliant day. Mine is going well so far.

And it made me laugh when you said ‘Your Highness’ at the end of your other comment yesterday.

    LOL.

When Andy was first published you would get one comic per day. Now on GoComics 3 or 4 or more Smythe originals appear every day.

I think the MG&G drawing is adequate but they need to fire whoever is doing the writing.

@ChalkeyeWhat I was trying to say is that I could put up with the drawing if they could come up with some decent subject matter or situations – something funny or entertaining.

My day was all right. I hope yours was to your liking also.

Did you enjoy ‘Hidden Frontier’? I’ve never heard of that before either.

    What am I like?
