In all the years I have read Andy Capp, I have seen him flirt with girls in the bar but he was always with Flo in all other instances. This if first time I have seen him with a woman other than Flo. i’m kinda disappointed.
@Gweedo I know you and others had issues with Joe, but you had to get to know him. He was actually a pretty decent fellow. (I hope that doesn’t get me barred from here for saying that.
2old2readcomics, from last night. I hope you don’t feel bad because of that misunderstanding, no big deal, believe me. :-) As for spending too much time here at the comics, I hear ya’! BOY, do I hear you! But hey, housework and all that stuff isn’t going anywhere, is it? Maybe we should both hire maids!
The best strip of the month, beating out yesterday’s! (Too bad most of the month was lousy.) I have a feeling that the nice bit of stuff is also married but her husband won’t go to the sessions…….
Oh, and I forgot to mention this yesterday: Most of the Sunday Andy’s are padded with wasted panels. But yesterday’s actually would have made an excellent Sunday strip, with Andy and Chalkie getting more and more baffled by the cat and the donkey and getting even wilder in their comments, until Jackie finally explodes in exasperation!

You’re welcome, Three. I find a regular poster’s prolonged absence to be an unavoidable pothole too !-I made salsa today and will partition off batches for the different heat treatments before delivering to recipients. Joe and I have most of the rest of the upstairs windows to a point where all we are doing is waiting for the new ones to come. I have all the shots for the bathroom job, but not quite the time to get them to Flickr yet.-I got a Thank You card from Jack & Eileen (she wrote it). She liked the bird and was appreciative of using my travel pillow at Dialysis. It allows her head to orient properly on the couch thing that you lay on for three hours while they filter your blood. I had since got her one of her own. I hope Friday sees you in good spirits and good health.GMo
I hate it when a regular goes missing for a long or even a short period of time. But that’s life I suppose.
That was sweet of you to lend Eileen your travel pillow until she got her own. I bet her ‘Thank You’ card to you was lovely. When will the new windows arrive?
Thank you and I hope Friday sees you in good spirits and good health also.
2old2readcomics, I’m sure Susan’s Monkey Business does have a cleaning service, but do we want to take that chance? What if they stayed too long at the Tiki, and then decide they want to clean our houses!? :-D
I tried hitting the reply button on your post but it won’t work for some reason.
Maybe it’s the dreaded mod over at the dreaded (the name escapes me but it’s not a comic I could possibly care about in the very least) infecting other mods and deleting classics?
OK, this is apropro of nothing, yet again, and is actually a duplicate of one posted on one of my favorite comics…but it is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen…made me melt completely…if ya dont like it; sorry…if ya do, then you probably melted along with me…made me wanna check to see if I needed insulin from the sweetness of it…lol..
Linda when we found Little Bit and Blackie under our Catalpa tree, 2 summers ago, gee it’s been that long? That’s how youngest son and I bathed them, under the bathroom sink! I think you may have read that story here somewhere. Our vet said we “DONE GOOD”! Kittens found like that generally don’t make it at that young of an age. They are just DELIGHTFUL, the 2 bros! And now you know why I have 5 cats, couldn’t abandon them, you know? I still want to have another dog or two. I MISS my dogs as much as I LOVE my cats.
Hey Ghostperson? Longtime no see. Welcome back. Hang around awhile, why dontcha?
ANNOUNCEMENT My grand-niece delivered Coby, boy, 6 1/2 lbs, 19in. this morning 8:45AM Eastern. Mother and baby are doing well. This extends my wife’s family to five living generations. Yep, my 78 yr old mother-in-law is now a great-great grandmother. I will post appropriately cute stories and such as needed.
I had a joke in mind but my mind is leaky. I’ll post as soon as I remember it.

Don’t go give the Latter-day Saints a bad name, “Andrew”, by being a bigamist.

@Stel. Thank you for your reply. It was amazing. I wasn’t aware the pink panther existed before Steve Martin. Is there more?

Also, Mikeyj, I couldn’t agree more!

This is two days in a row that I’ve posted some classics, and they disappear. Is GoComics telling me something, or is it someone else?
