I’ll give a sense of achievment to the first officer who busts me …….. and you can use me to test your new alcohol level machine and see if it can read a really high level ……
Finally a punch line with some PUNCH to it! This was the funniest Andy I’ve seen in months. I love the “inmates running the asylum” feel to this. The interviewers have even less of a clue than Andy himself (and here we always thought that was impossible!)

I hafta stop thinkin’-a you then ! -It is kinda messy. I was riding on my bike near here when I stopped and saw the cow. Stuff was dripping out the back, and not the usual. I kept watching and there it went. A couple of other cows came over and lay down by her while she was “working”.-You have a ‘headquarters’ if you decide to bring him the mints. My monitor didn’t even so much as creak today. -I prefer ones that aren’t just manufactured chems. -My Tosh lid is in a partial up position most of the time. There is some tensioning mechanism that holds the lid open and all the ‘open and shut case’ you do simply wears the tightness to where it goes sloppy. -Kinda that way; need to do some more research. To clarify: They are both capable of WiFi connecting. Sometimes in-store units will actually be connected online as the Sam was. I tried to get to my mailbox 3 times but am sloppy with the on screen keyboard. I was going to go to Komix, but decided not to dawdle too long. I wish the Toshiba had been online. -I think conditions will be okay for traveling and I am going south, away from the cold. Talked to Sheilah in Charlotte a little bit ago. She can’t wait to see me. She is like an older sister I never had. We were pals as kids !-I see that you are very ‘shackled’ to that series. The song has been so worn by radio that I sometimes change the channel when it comes on. -I saw Puppy Dog just yesterday, Three. In fact, I couldn’t avoid it. There was so much woofing at the fence that the only way to get it to stop was me going over there. We had a great time ! -Thanks and a soppyific Saturday to you !__________________________________________________
Yes, I think you had better!-I’ve already decided I don’t want to have kids of my own. I do like kids but not the bratty ones who are spoilt and ungrateful. I just don’t think I’d be brave enough to go through childbirth. Even a a Caesarean can be painful, especially when you wake up after the operation. My poor Mum had to have a Caesarean because I don’t think I wanted to come out. Apparently, I was a breech baby.-I asked my Mum if she thought I’d make a good Mum and she said yes but I think she was trying to keep a straight face when she said it. Hahahahaha!-Pleased to hear your monitor didn’t creak, I haven’t had that photo on my avatar for nearly 2 years.-My laptop lid is always closed when I’m not using it. I only keep it open if Windows is installing updates. It only done 1 last time.-When I got my new phone which I’ve had for almost 3 years now, I had a terrible time with the keypad for typing text messages. It was my first touch phone. But I got used to it.-I hope you find the perfect tablet for your trip! How is the camera search going?-Awww, That’s sweet. I thought Sheilah was your cousin? Unless I’m getting mixed up. Still, I’m pleased she’s like an older sister to you. My own cousin came round today. He’s found his own flat after splitting from his partner and he is getting the keys on Monday. He showed us photos of the different rooms on his phone. It looks beautiful inside. A flat would be known as an ‘apartment’ to you. -The Prisoner is one of the most unique TV Programmes I’ve seen. I love the music in it. Sorry to keep sending you so many links but this is one my favourite musical scenes in The Prisoner. The music I’m mostly referring to starts when Number 48 is trying to hitch a ride at 3:00 of the video: Link-May your Saturday be wonderful! Keep warm.
(At 49 comments I doubt anyone will ever see this, but here goes.)
Reading “Andy Capp” over the years I’ve found some interesting differences between British and American English, but this one surprised me: My “Shorter Oxford Dictionary” shows both ‘tch’ and ‘tsk’ but my “American Heritage 4th” shows only ‘tsk’. Oddly, the Oxford shows ‘tsk tsk’ but not ‘tch tch’. (I have many other dictionaries I could refer to, but I have found these the best for my needs.)
