Has the young lady had 1 too many Jackaritas?

How can it be that she knows Andy all that well in so short a time?

Speaking of lowering the tone of the neighborhood, that’s one mean looking missus. Looks like she’s been rode hard and put up wet.

She doesn’t exactly heighten the tone yelling after Andy with that scowl.

Our newspaper recently had a series about some of the power-crazed leaders of certain homes associations (not just in Kansas City, not just in Missouri, but pretty much nationwide). Trust me, a mere scowl wouldn’t even be noticed in some of those homes associations. (Not that I think any home would want to associate with the Capp place……..)

Don’t you hate it when people who have only known you 5 minutes start being judgemental and critical about your life?

Nothing a black eye won’t sort. I’m just saying.

15 years ago on this date thousands of people died in the worst attack on the United States. Only 3 of the 17 strips that I read daily referenced this horrific event (Nancy, Maxine, and Wizard of ID). Why did Andy Capp not reference this event and honor those who died or those who helped those who did survive and tried to rescue others?

Never forget.

My wife and I were in Troon Scotland on holiday when the attack happened. A man stopped us on the street to say how sorry he was to hear about the terrible tragedy in our country.That was the first we had heard about it. We headed back to our flat to watch the TV reports. My son called from Houston to say “I think America’s under attack.” Our return flight was cancelled and we had to stay in Troon a few extra days.
