I’ve ben around “remote control TV” all my life. It started when Dear Old Mom & Dad asked me to please get up & change the channel!

She’s the only wage earner. He’ll have to find a job or get kicked out for non-payment of rent, utilities, and his bar bill.

This can only occur in a comic strip. In reality, Flo would be long gone and Andy would have died from Psoriasis of the liver years ago!

One woman I know got tired of her husband being on the internet all day, so she simply unplugged the wall connection. It took him and tech support more than an hour to figure out what happened. She never admitted to it, but …

Oh no! Now Andy will have to get up and (GASP!) press the buttons on the TV to turn it on and change the channel! Oh, the horror!!!!

Valves is Brit speak for Tubes. More specifically Vacuum Tubes.

I bet she’s also taken the cans of beer from the fridge with her as well.
