@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , but parts of it have been done before , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp put that mattress that he found in a dump outside the pub himself :o) , my avatar is a contradiction , wearing a dayglow jacket over cammoflage clothing , I actually saw an idiot in an open cammoflaged Land Rover that he had named “Rainbow Warrior” like a ship at the time that tried it’s best to protect Marine wildlife . and the idiot had a gun rack with two shotguns , only in Malta at that time :o{ How was your day? ours should be busy but calm I hope , have fun and thanks for caring pal.
I seem to remember the bartender’s in Ireland were a lot more forceful (vocally) when calling “the time”. Aside from the usual " Time, gentlemen, please!", they’d say things like: " Right now, have ye no homes teh go to? "
Nobody is mentioning that Jack’s place probably isn’t patronized by “ladies and gentlemen”, merely “men and women”? Unless we’re dealing with cartoon social mores as well as cartoon physics……..(Or Jack is just unbelievably polite!)
