For that matter “trust” and “rely on” don’t apply to politicians either, so the error is nullified

The politician would do better by inviting Andy to the pub, for further discussion.

That is so unfair. Andy may be relied on to cadge drinks and/or cash. As well, he regularly cheats at “games of chance” and any sport in which he engages. The police department covering Hartlepool is guaranteed employment in apprehending and incarcerating him.

He seems pretty dependable to me.

Most politicians, are equally “trustworthy”. Go ahead and make a promise you have no intention of keeping, he will.

Just make sure that the polls are in the local pub.

Is that remark coming from Flo or her Mum? On 2nd thought, it could be coming from BOTH!

Those Maine guys are so unable to make WINE out of Wisconsin and Nebraska abbreviations, so they play LAME games like Virginia Hall with Louisiana and Maine.

Voting must be difficult for Andy. I can’t see him supporting the Conservative Party and anything associated with Labour is totally contrary to his ethics.

Not unless he’s on the ‘pay the tab’ ticket.

“You don’t know him, lad” — Lad? the man looks to be about 40. Am I missing something here?

Interested to know what he has “promised” to do if people vote for him?
