All Andy caught today was flack from the Vicar!

@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but a repeat , ,it’s not polite of the Vicar to make fun of our HERO Mr Andrew Capp that way :o) , my avatatar is a spoof pie chart of what Lego blocks do , the main part is being throd on like I used to do when my boys were kids, how was your day ? our Finally Friday is super , I have slept a whole night for the first time in years , we are both in a good mood , no shopping or errands to run just stay in the house because it’s cold outside , and keep hydrated till this evening when I’ll have my fav nosh , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.

The vicar has a very weird collar. Not only is it off-center, it switches positions when he does!!

Not a question of choice but indecision. “Should I stay or should I go”.

I’m told that eating lots of fish is good food for the brain. I don’t know it that is true. But if it is, it’s because the fish are always in school. And since Andy can’t seem to catch any, it tells how empty his brain must be.

The Fish in the river is like Andy in any Pub…. as long as someone else is buying.

I’m surprised to see Andy fishing in a place that doesn’t have a “NO FISHING” sign!

We all know Andy does not have a fishing license.

Ooh, that Vicar is sharp tongue today. Well, there is two sides to everyone and an “edge”

So the town has both rivers AND canals?

The only fish that get caught are the ones that can’t keep their mouths shut…..

Men exchange barbs and criticisms like the Vicar just did where it’s important not to let it get to you and laugh it off. When all’s said and done the Vic is just another man.

A late friend of mine was an avid fisherman and a Roman Catholic priest. You could always find him on his days off either fly-fishing in a river or lake or surf-casting at the shore. He always claimed he did his best meditating and got the best ideas for his homilies while fishing.

When asked what he did for a living, by people who didn’t know he was a clergyman ( he rarely wore the dog collar ) he would tell them that he was an Angler-can priest.

Andy is obviously not holding his mouth right! That is the secret to being a successful fisherman.

Reminds me of this Golden Oldie:

“I want my money back! You said this cat you sold me was good for mice! So far he hasn’t caught one!”

“Well, isn’t that good for mice?”

Andy wanted to catch fish, but he got an insult instead.

Judging from the size of that hook, Andy is fishing for a whopper.
