@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp mistaking Flo’s jibe for a compliment is priceless :o) my avatar again is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring because he’s in a good mood like I am, how was your day? our Manic Monday should be hectic , but we should cope I hope, we both are in a good mood , we have shopping to do but no errands to run , just keep inside the house and keep hydrated because it’s cold outside, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
Some years back, when I was in high school, there was a movie made in our local area. Very uncommon for us. Several of my fellow students wanted badly to be in it just as an extra.
True story: I was a small town cop. A movie production was taking place in my area. It was set 40 or so years earlier. They scouted out locations and one was a crappy, run down police department. We got picked. But they had to give us a coat of paint and spruce it up a bit because it was a little TOO crappy!
I was once an extra in a movie. I was 300 pounds, shaved head, gray beard, only wore bib overalls and flannel shirts. They asked if I could play “man at fish fry.” Yeah, I think I can pull that off.
There will possibly be a real life meet up between me and fellow GoComics user ‘A Common Tator’ at the end of this month. I hope with all my heart that it does happen. We shall see.
I have recently signed up to do some more volunteer work but not at the same place where I currently go on Wednesdays. But I will be staying there. I’d like to volunteer another day of the week that’s all, I want to keep busy. I will fill in the application form tomorrow at the library.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

It’s only putting caution before caustic that he doesn’t say, “Are they looking for frumpy char women?”

not enough – they should offer ale on set or the set must have some sort of a medieval bar

As some French friends would say, “These Romans are crazy.”

Film companies usually start shooting early in the morning, so I don’t think that would be Andy’s cup of tea or glass of ale for that matter.

That’s something I would love to do. Be an extra in a film or TV series.
That and also be a witness at somebody’s wedding. I’ve got some random stuff on my Bucket List. Haha.

Remember Asterix? I hate to think what would happen if Andy drank some of Getafix’s magic potion.

They both have their roles to play: Flo, the sober, steady, clear-eyed realist; and Andy, who sees the world through ale-colored glasses.

He’s perfect for the part after the battle where all those bodies are scattered all over the field.
