What doesn’t help Andy relax aside from his wife’s and the townsfolks’ complaining about him?

Andy has not got a drinking problem…he drinks, he falls in the canal, no problem!

Just have all the locks changed while he’s out getting stinko!!

And then, when (or if) he pounds and screams, call the police (but not before getting the money back that he stole from your purse).

How far have Andy and Flo’s voice travelled by the third panel? Presumably Andy has only travelled across the road and further down it to the first pub he will visit. He will visit other pubs before returning to Canal Street and falling into the canal after which it was named.

Across the street is not far.

Maybe he’s crossed the canal; sound does travel further over water.

The Count fails to see how sleeping on the couch all afternoon is a bad thing? Ta, Andrew. Simply go in to the Rose and Crown, close the door and age a pint from some mark in a purple suit. Dilly! Dilly!

Our conscience can travel a long long way. Yet not all people feel guilt.

Andy needs to rest up and hydrate before drinking!!

Andy gets so relaxed in the pub, that he has to take a dip in the canal to revive himself.

Flo obviously doesn’t need a megaphone.

And someone from a football ground so far away cried to Andy and the others in the pub that Hartlepool was relegated to non-league today!!!
