Today’s strip reminds me of my trip to Shrewsbury on Tuesday which I mentioned earlier this week. As I said at the time, I visited two pubs there – Hole In The Wall and The Armorer.

I hope they’re considering adding another humorist. Otherwise I’m afraid we’re going to see the end of A. C.. I’ve been reading Andy since the 1950s and it’s just going downhill and downhill. It’s not just today’s effort. Of course I’ve been going downhill and downhill myself. Hopefully it’s just me cuz I love Andy and Flo and the rest of the gang. Maybe it was when Roger Mahoney died. He did bring a lot he certainly did

I hope they don’t come across a country pub. If the beer is less expensive than in Hartlepool, Andy will want to catch a bus out there all the time, making him later then usual every night.

Andy, just be quiet and enjoy the scenery. If you’re a good lad, I’m sure Flo will treat you to a pint or two later.

I live in a somewhat rural area and go on walks all the time. I’ve never seen any pubs on my walks.

They heard Andy Capp was coming, so they moved. Bricks, and all.
