Like ‘the poor cat i’ the adage’ Lady Macbeth uses to needle her husband in Act I, Scene 7 of the Shakespeare play.
Well, then, she’ll just knock it over…then where will we be…..flapping around?
I knew a cat who would sit on the edge of the bathtub with her tail dangling in the water, clearly puzzled as to why she felt uncomfortable.
I had a cat that would sit on the edge watching someone take a bubble bath…. until one day she fell in… watched from a distance after that!
Likely jerks the hook when it cleans its undercarriage.
The cat with good etiquettes, I guess.
Should have been “The cat doesn’t like to get their paws wet” or the old-fashioned “… get its paws wet”.
