Stacey asks Gene, "Buy you a coke?" Gene, a bit surprised, tells Arlo, "Dad, I'm going to the canteen." Arlo says, "Uh.. ok.." Janis turns to Arlo after Gene and Stacey leave and, annoyed, asks, "Who is she? What's all this about? You're just going to let him go?" Arlo responds, "It's not far.." Arlo continues, "Besides, he didn't exactly ask!"
Makes me wonder what Janis would have been like with a daughter.
