Ruth is watching Linda cook. Ruth exclaims, "Oh, Linda! A wine sauce!" Linda exclaims, "Mais oui, mon amie!" Ruth sniffs and exclaims, "Ooo la la!" Phone rings, and Linda suggests, "That might be your dad!" Ruth answers the phone, "Hello...Mom!" Ruth says, "Yes, I'm having fun. I mean, some fun.. not just a lot.. just a bit!"
Almost too real. Well done JJ. Ruth feeling guilty about enjoying the moment due to her parents choices. It is no wonder that many rank divorces on the emotional trauma life scale just under death of a spouse.Recovery does happen. Parents and children alike, are adaptive and all move on.
