On the phone, Arlo says, "I.. Uh.. I .. Uh..Well.. Uh.. I.." Arlo continues to stutter, "Um.. I Uh.. I ..Well.." Finally, Arlo slams the phone and yells, "I'msorrygottatgothekitchen'sonfirebye!" Janis asks an angry Arlo, "Another telephone solicitor?"
… and 25 years later, most of us have no compunctions about being rude to telephone scammers, or just hanging up immediately.
