Photo of a young Janis. Gene examines it and thinks, "Mom when she was just a little girl!" Gene thinks, "She'd never heard of Dad-- I wouldn't even exist for years yet." Gene mentally exclaims, "That's deep!"
Sifting through some old photos, I found an early color photo of a lady that coulda given Sophia Loren a run for her money, dancing with a stocky gentlemen, her skirt flaring out. Nice legs. I asked my mom who it was, and her response? “That’s your grandma. Your dad’s mom.”
Nope, nope. Couldn’t be. Grandma had gray hair and walked slowly everywhere.
