The turkey sits in the baking pan. Janis screams, "Please! I hate doing that!" Annoyed, Arlo yells, "Oh, like I just love it!" Janis points to turkey and says, "Just reach in there and find that little bag of giblets." Arlo sighs. Janis asks, "Well?" Arlo hushes Janis. Arlo prepares his hand and explains, "This is the part where I pause and apologize in advance to the turkey's spirit."

Now, whenever I eat the turkey liver, I remember my Papa Higginbotham, the only other member of my family who enjoyed the things.

I prefer gimlets to giblets.
