I guess we’ll see. This could be the big finale or another threadbare plot gimmick—the last-minute fight before the big makeup/wedding scene.
Still, is it worth noting that Mary Lou didn’t seem to be wearing a ring (specifically, Gene’s great-grandmother’s) in last Thursday’s strip?
