Janis didn’t hear all the other grunts and groans only the “ouch.” This is a good of the principle of selective hearing. It might explain why Janis doesn’t hear Arlo’s vociferations concerning his desire for intimacy.
And he though ‘snap crackle pop’ was a cereal.
Sometimes, just the “oohing” and “airing” feels good.
Everything other than the “ouch” are Dad Noises.
