Transcript:
Arlo: You're wearing long sleeves! Aren't you hot?
Janis: No, it's September. I'm cold.
Arlo: Creature instinct really kicks into overdrive this time of year!
81 in Uvalde, Texas with a projected high of 91. That’s lower than usual for August here. It’s usually in the high 90s or 100 but we’ve been having a lot of rain the last week or so.
choo choo willy, that was my thought too. Sounds like everyday there…….68º in Kalamazoo and Paw Paw, 11:27.Thank God! The weather just broke. It’s been plus 90º for weeks, with high humidity (dew point in the high 70s) It was killin’ me….
I will be 60 this year and VERY seldom have I ever been cold. I am one of those who is out shoveling snow in a tee-shirt and jeans. I HATE summer, but my family does not mind it. So, the choice was either we split up and I go north and they go south, or we compromise and stay here in MD. :o) We compromised.

Still summer time in south Texas. The calendar doesn’t move things on and off. Janice has hypnotized herself into feeling a chill.

There are still 3 weeks in Summer. In any case, dress for the weather, not the calendar.

@night-gaunt49No, the thermostat setting in women is set higher to protect the fetus. Perhaps that’ll change after a million years of central heating.
