In my house, we have my remote and her remote both labeled with out names on them, both to the same TV. I can usually find one or the other.

Unless I’m working in the dining area, I try to keep the remote (used to mute the ads) on my chair-side table at all times. It’s the cordless phone that sneaks away and I have to use the finder button to locate it. Say, can you ask one of those new personal assistant gadgets to find lost items and get an accurate answer?

If y’don’t own a tv or a portable phone, there’s no problem finding remotes because there are no remotes.

Does anyone else get the FredJulius malware popups at this site? I just got one when I opened A&J. This is the only site where I get them, and they piggyback on a claim that I must upgrade Firefox or the world will end.

Have you ever noticed how all remotes are designed to look alike? If designers were smart they would come up with a unique shape or color for each remote so the TV remote would be different from the DVR, different from the cable box controller, the home entertainment system, different from the remote controlled lighting system, different for the wireless phone. Just saying that a round neon blue remote for the cable box would be kind of refreshing and easier to find.

Before going to bed, I stack the remotes on Husband’s side of the table between our chairs so he won’t have to look for them in the morning.
