Both my cats do the same thing. If I go to sleep in the recliner, they will lay all over me and sleep until 11 PM. Then pester me to get up and go to bed at the regular time.
Our Cat does the very same thing. It’s nice that she expects us to be in bed at a certain time. What I don’t like is that she also wants to control when we should get up!
My dog can tell time. He knows exactly when our bed time is and begins to agitate about ten minutes before we go to bed because he gets a jerky treat just before bed. I swear he counts the chimes on the grandfather clock.

Ludwig just wants to snuggle into the down comforter. Arlo isn’t that puffy.

Actually, several of my cats come to find me if I stay up past my usual bedtime…

Looks like Arlo went to sleep… the TV is still on… the remote is taking up some of Luddie’s space so it’s up to Luddie to solve the problem.

My cats acted the same way once they were older. By choice they would only get down to eat or visit the liter box. I miss them.

Where’s Janis in the bed. Maybe shes smart and doesn’t want the cat in her bed.

Been there. And don’t you dare refuse the cat.

I have the opposite behavior with my cats. They will pile on me in the morning directly over my bladder. Gotta get up to pee then feed.

After Saturday’s strip, Janis is probably sleeping in the spare bedroom with the door locked.
