How to brighten up a dreary winter’s day! Even in 2020!

We got a fresh few inches but temps are going to vacillate up and down around the freezing point so we may get a little thaw then another freeze, then a little thaw and another freeze. Makes for fun times on the ice.

The dark and gloom of a winter day is brightened by a snowfall. Just so long as it’s not a blizzard.

Just a guess here: Janis doesn’t have to shovel snow. :-)

The fun that snow brings turns into misery after a certain birthday.

Come for the laugh, but get an uplift for the day. An acceptable trade in my book. Thank you Artist.

I still wonder why Arlo doesn’t walk with her. He does everything else to annoy her. Maybe this is her private time and has made it clear “ME – not US”.

Lifelong New England Yankee here, and I for one am HEARTILY sick of snow. Nearly ten years to retirement and I AM looking South. Wife says she won’t go.

    Boy I’ll miss her.

I figure I’m getting old, because for the last few years my first thought at te sight of snow hasn’t been “Let’s go camping!”

But I don’t see a time when I’d want to live somewhere lacking real seasons (but, ask me again in spring, after my first winter with a walker……….)

We had sleet today but it eased up about 6 and I was able to walk for 15 minutes. I tried again 30 minutes ago and the sleet was way too wet now. I lasted all of 5 minutes. I think it’s a lost cause, Janis.

In my “Lower Alabama” town (possible area of Arlo & Janis), one snow flake, schools are let out, businesses close, cars wreck, and kids try to make a one inch snowman.

I am impressed with the gray tone in this strip and the contrasting colors on Janis. Props to the colorist.
