So typical. We’re conditioned to always give to the male. I remember a story I read many years ago about a young mother who was at a church dinner with her little boy about 4. They served chocolate cake with a marischino cherry on top and the little boy ate the cherry off his cake and asked his mom for hers because he loved them so much. She said “So do I so I’m going to eat it myself.” All the other ladies looked at her like she was evil. But she had every right to eat it herself. Would they have given her the stink eye if it had been a little girl? Most moms would’ve just given it to him but this is how male entitlement begins.
