Several years ago, a friend had an 18 year old son who came home drunk as a skunk (he was 6’ and she was 5’); with all the bravado of a drunk, he told her there wasn’t a darn thing she could do about it. She waited until he “went to sleep”, then rolled him up in his sheet like a mummy, grabbed her broom and proceeded to start whooping him! He woke up from pain – learned the hard way that she was still boss! :-D

Last night on PBS I watched Holland Taylor’s one woman masterpiece about Ann RIchards, former governor of Texas and general hellfire….. This comic reminds me of her, rest her fiery forward-thinking soul-
