I don’t like treadmills. I don’t like walking at a speed determined by a machine. I like to vary my pace. The pavement in my neighborhood works fine. It offers a variety of hills, it’s a lot cheaper and it doesn’t take up any space in my house.
Also, I don’t feel guilty when I sleep in because it is raining. :)
I live in a retirement community and they have a Rec center that I pay for once a year with treadmills, weight machines and dead weights. I went there when I first moved in the area, hated it, any machine you use and you’re limited to half an hour, my walks are 45 minutes long and when I hiked I would be gone two to three hours.

At least you got some exercise clearing off all the stuff just to get to it.

That’s good work there, Aunty. I hope you warmed up properly beforehand, and make sure to cool down after.

Better her than me.
I’m walking about 110 ft (33.53 m) without stopping to rest, and my breathing is only slightly increased.

Works for me.

I’m sure the good Doc asked you to get plenty of rest, too, so that’s two birds with one stone, Aunty!

Use of a pillow is recommended.
It will make your “workout” more satisfying.

Sleeping in that position looks more painful than walking…

I got two. Guess. Yep, both are now covered with clothes and stuff.

It’s easy to spend time on a treadmill . . . if you’re wearing roller skates.

At least you more use out of that thing then just a clothes rack.
