They went to my congresscritter’s office.

Her company’s telephone ‘on-hold music’ is “Send in the Clowns.”

Her office is a circus.

I didn’t know she worked for the government !

Life is a carnival.

Fools aren’t clowns.

not my circus, not my monkeys, but apparently I’m expected to be the ring master

…..and so it is a great day in the neighborhood!!!!!

Apparently politics is more lucrative.

Same circus. Different tent.

They’re all in government.

No, all of the clowns are running for political office.

Just this morning I was watching a 1977 episode of The Muppet Show (from a DVD set) while riding my exercise bike. Judy Collins sang, “Send in the Clowns.”

Or they went into politics.
