That sounds right. I have a couple of pairs that old.

Funny. I just gave 4 pairs to Goodwill. ( and Don’t start about their new high prices) I won’t shop there.

I have some old ones—from 1972.

But it is rather nice when you can use them again!

I go through my closet every couple of years, right now all my 2 slim jeans fall down so I have to tuck my shirt in. Not sure what to go to next.

Time to check out their current selling price on Ebay.

I was prescribed a medication whose side effect is weight loss a little over a year ago. I have the reverse problem. Yes, I had to buy new jeans (and even they are now loose) but the rest of my pants could be taken in. My concern is for loss of muscle mass. I’ve had to increase my workouts.

On the plus side, I recently tried on a tuxedo I had tailor made for me in Korea in 1985. It fits comfortably.

If you try to wear them now they will what now is called distressed jeans.

Not jeans, but I last wore my 1959 Prom (no longer quite) White Sport Coat to a recent Dinner Theatre performance of the Million Dollar Quartet, so maybe 60 years?

I only have one pair that sorta fits. The rest are too big.

I don’t have any jeans that old, but I do have one pair that are too big, which I bought when I gained some weight during Covid.
