Fun fact: babies have taste buds in their cheeks. Perhaps that’s why they resist putting it in their mouths, and instead smear it all over their faces!

I don’t know about that. Has anyone ever done a scientific study on the absorption of food through a baby’s skin? Give me a government grant and I’ll conduct one. It may only take a decade or two of funding.
